Casino Poker Bonus
I have always wondered why I haven’t seen more casino bonuses for people who like playing casino poker games such as Caribbean Stud, Three Card Poker and Texas Holdem. More often than not, these games are either lumped into a blackjack bonus or an “all games” bonus. It is hard to tell which games are OK to play with the bonus and which games are restricted.
Pure Vegas Casino is offering a special bonus for casino poker games. You can receive a 200% match bonus up to $1000 on each of your first 3 deposits! This will allow you to play the following games: Caribbean poker games, Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, Tri Card Poker, Let’ Em Ride, Red Dog, War and Vegas Three Card Rummy.
In order to receive this bonus, you can either download the Pure Vegas Casino software or play online using their instant play casino games. You will need to create an account with them to be able to log in. Once you are logged into the casino lobby, click on the Cashier button. You will need to make a deposit between $25 and $500 into your casino account. Before you place a bet, make sure you go to the Redeem Coupon tab.
Enter the Bonus Code: PUREPOKER1 and click the Redeem button. Be sure to do this after you make a deposit but before you make a bet. You will automatically be credited with a bonus of 200%. If you deposited $200, you will receive a bonus of $400 and start with $600.
The bonus codes for the 2nd and 3rd deposits are PUREPOKER2 and PUREPOKER3. You can claim these bonuses in one of two ways.
1) You complete the bonus requirements for your previous deposit.
2) You have less than $5 left in your balance.
This is a sticky bonus, meaning bonus money can not be cashed out. The bonus money acts as your bankroll and a true gambler knows how to make a bankroll work. The object is to never get frustrated and start betting more than you would be willing to when you first start playing. Whenever you play a casino game for more than an hour, you will see big streaks for either you or the dealer. The casinos win because the dealer usually only needs to get on one big streak to bust you out.
Bonus Requirements
The wagering requirement for most of the casino poker games listed here are 25 x (deposit + bonus). This includes Caribbean poker games, Tri Card Poker, Let’ Em Ride, Red Dog, War and Vegas Three Card Rummy. Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, as well as all blackjack and video poker games have a wagering rollover of 75 times.
Restricted Games – The following games can not be played while using this bonus: Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, and Bingo.
If you choose to make a withdrawal after completing one of the bonuses, the bonus money left in your account will be reduced by the amount withdrawn or reset back to $0.
Casino Poker Games
Caribbean Stud Poker – This is a game where you are dealt 5 cards face up and the dealer receives 4 cards down and 1 card up. Stud poker means that you will not get the chance to draw for better cards. The object is to get a higher-ranked poker hand than the dealer.
You must bet an Ante in order to receive your hand. If you wish to play your hand against the dealer, you must Raise by putting in twice the amount of your ante. The dealer must have Ace/King or better to qualify. If the dealer doesn’t qualify, you will only win on your Ante.
Caribbean Draw Poker – This is very closely related to the stud poker game above. However, there are two significant differences that make this game very different:
1) Both you and the dealer have the option to choose 2 cards to discard and draw 2 new cards
2) The dealer needs to receive a pair of 8′s or better to qualify for the hand.
Caribbean Hold’em Poker – The betting is the same as Caribbean stud poker, but not much else is the same. After you place your ante, both you and the dealer will receive two hole cards as in Texas Hold’em. The flop will be dealt before you have to act. In order to see the turn and river cards, you must call the Ante (2x the bet). The dealer’s hand will qualify with a pair of 4′s or better.
Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker – This game isn’t completely different from the Caribbean poker games; however there are a couple of key differences. First, the Caribbean poker games have a progressive jackpot that can be bet on while this game does not. Instead, you can make a Bonus bet on how good your hole cards will be. Also, the dealer’s hand does not
You will be required to make an Ante before you receive your hole cards. In order to see the flop, you will need to bet Double your ante or you will have to fold to the dealer. After the flop, you can choose to bet your Ante or Check on each of the last two cards. In order to win on your Ante bet, you must get a straight or higher. Otherwise you will only win on the flop, turn and river bets.
Three Card Poker – This is a game where both you and the dealer are dealt three cards. You will be required to put an Ante bet before you can receive these cards. In order to see the dealer’s cards, you must put a Raise bet (same amount as Ante bet). Your three card hand must beat the dealer’s three card hand in order to win. The dealer will not qualify if they do not have a Queen or higher in their hand. You will automatically be paid on the Ante bet if the dealer doesn’t qualify, but not on the Raise bet.
Let’ Em Ride/Red Dog/War – I struggle to actually call these games poker. Each of these three games are often grouped into casino poker, but you aren’t really playing poker. Red Dog is basically Acey Deucey. You must place an Ante bet. Then two cards will be dealt. You will have to take a 3rd card and you will only win if this card falls in-between the ranks of the other two cards. You can choose to receive the 3rd card without betting or you can Raise (same bet as your Ante). The close together in rank that the two cards are, the larger the payout if the 3rd card falls between them.
Let’ Em Ride is basically a version of 5 card stud that you play on your own. You must receive a Pair of 10′s or better to win on your bet. You will receive the first 3 cards after you place an Ante bet. You can choose to Continue or Raise on the fourth and fifth cards shown. You will lose everything you bet on the hand if you do not get at least a pair of 10′s. However, there are larger than 1 to 1 payouts for Two Pairs or better.
Casino War is as simple as it gets. You are betting that the next card dealt for you is going to be larger than the next card dealt to the dealer. If the cards are the same, you must decide whether to go to war and double your bet or fold and concede the current hand.
